Fountain City Ministry Center

Knox County families can get free clothes for a child 12 years old and younger and is limited to three outfits per child every four months. The applicant must also be on SNAP food stamps. Our goal is to provide emergency food, clothing, and spiritual assistance. Clients are eligible for food once a month.

The Helen Ross McNabb Center’s Therapeutic Foster Care and Adoption Program serves children and teens who are in state’s custody due to abuse or neglect and who have behavioral or emotional problems.

Catholic Charities of East Tennessee

Mothers and single moms can get free maternity clothes and supplies. There may also be diapers, car seats, and related goods for the new parents.

Salvation Army Center in Knox County

In an emergency, everything from funds for bills or medications to clothing is offered. They also run the Red Kettle and Angel Tree Christmas program, provide back to school help, and more. A free school supply giveaway occurs each year.

Shepherd's Corner is part of Of One Accord This agency's services include emergency food distribution, free winter coats, household items, emergency funds for utility assistance, and a thrift shop This agency will also accept donations of all kinds.

The Compassion Closet exists to show the love of Christ by providing quality clothing and tangible goods to foster children and their families. We also desire to serve birth families, aging-out youth, kinship placements, and domestic/international adoptive families as God allows and the needs arise.

Matthew 19:14 Ministries

Each and every year, Matthew 19:14 carries out more than 1,000 programs across the country, involving people of every age, interest, and need. Some of these programs include: eye exams for children, toy donations, special needs, after-school activities, animal therapy, and free medical care.
