"Be Like Bobby"
Caller Tells Story About 8-Year-Old Stranger Clutching Bobby's Books
Bobby Bones is a two-time New York Times Best Selling Author for his books Bare Bones: I'm Not Lonely If You're Reading This Book and Fail Until You Don't: Fight. Grind. Repeat. Both books have inspired many from listeners of The Bobby Bones Show to friends of fans. Some of the best stories though are hearing about the young ones inspired by Bones and his story.
A listener called into the show to share a story about a stranger she ran into at the grocery store. They were in the aisle for bread and she overheard a mother tell her 8-year-old son "Sometimes people at this age are just mean [...] it's okay we just have to be like Bobby" as she saw the young boy gripping both of Bones' books in his arms.
The sweet story came out of California, listen below to hear it!
