Spent the morning @nashvillerecoverycenter to honor those who we have lost to overdose. So many people joining to bring change. Thanks to Brian and Erika from @addictioncampuses and Jacqueline C. Perrine for all the work to make the event happen. Was good to meet former Nashville Major Megan Barry. I was interviewed the morning after her son Max died. Dr Stephen Loyd always brings a message we all need to hear and invites the precious gift of tears. Always proud of my friend posse of moms and dads who are in this club which NO ONE wants to be a member. 6th International Overdose Awareness Day.
