August is Overdose Awareness Month.
In honor of this, crosses are being placed on the lawn of the City County Building (Hill Avenue side). Each cross represents an OD death which occurred in Knox County during 2019. Purple crosses are for OD deaths that have occurred January through July. White crosses will be added as necessary to represent OD deaths during the month of August.
